Sunday River Skiway, ME
In 1958, scouting out the area on Bald Mountain near Bethel, Maine that would become Sunday River Skiway, ski area designer Sel Hannah found a "very good prospects, very good." A corporation was formed which built a T-Bar, cut trails and built this base lodge. The area opened in the 1959-1960 season.
